NativeBlade is built in the open by a community of developers. These guidelines apply wherever that community meets: the NativeBlade Discord server, the GitHub repositories (issues, pull requests and discussions), plugin listings and feedback, and any event or space run by NativeBlade.
They are adapted from the Contributor Covenant.
Our pledge
We want participating in the NativeBlade community to be a welcoming, harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
What we expect
- Be kind and patient, especially with people who are just starting with Laravel or mobile development.
- Assume good intent, and ask before you judge.
- Give feedback on the work, not the person, and make it specific and actionable.
- Accept feedback gracefully, and be willing to change your mind.
- Help keep threads useful: search before asking, share what you tried, and post the solution when you find one.
- Focus on what is best for the community as a whole.
What is not acceptable
- Insults, personal or political attacks, trolling and derogatory comments.
- Harassment of any kind, in public or in private.
- Sexualized language or imagery, and unwelcome sexual attention.
- Publishing other people's private information, such as addresses, phone numbers or credentials, without their explicit permission.
- Spam, unsolicited advertising, and repeatedly promoting your own products in unrelated conversations.
- Sharing pirated software, leaked credentials, or instructions to abuse NativeBlade or other services.
- Any other conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
Plugins and shared projects
Plugins, examples and projects shared with the community must also follow our Acceptable Use Policy. Do not publish plugins that collect user data without disclosing it, hide malicious behavior, or copy other people's work without respecting its license.
Moderation
Community moderators may remove or edit messages, issues, comments, code and other contributions that break these guidelines, and may warn, temporarily mute, or permanently ban anyone whose behavior is harmful or inappropriate.
We try to respond proportionally, and we consider context and history.
Reporting
If you experience or witness behavior that breaks these guidelines, message a moderator on Discord or email abuse@nativeblade.dev. Include links or screenshots when possible.
We review every report and will keep the identity of the person reporting confidential.
